50^th Jubilee Celebration

…that Bishop Sam Jacobs is the celebrant for tomorrow’s school Mass.

…that Sunday is Grandparents Day. We pray for all of our grandparents, living and deceased for the gift of their love and wisdom.

…that our first Grandparents’ Mass for this year is Friday, September 18^th at 9:15 AM. A reception in the Family Center will follow the Mass. This is the first year that we are offering family pictures after Mass. Please send in your order form as soon as possible so that we may plan accordingly. 

…that kindergarten parents should have received a letter today about the Rite of Passage that is scheduled for September 22^nd.

…that Buddy Day, which will take place next Tuesday, is a special time for our kindergarten and seventh grade students. Seventh grade students are paired up with kindergarten students for whom they are responsible for all year long. Special activities are planned for the day that help "buddies" get acquainted with each other and the school. Seventh graders will interview their buddies, weigh and measure them, take them on a tour of the church, have lunch, and spend some time having fun with them.

…that we received a check from Target for $152.25 because parents, teachers, school supporters have used their REDcard for purchases. Target donates 1% of the total purchase to the school. If you would like more information on this program go to Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142.

…that our Resource Parent meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16^th at 7 PM in the Family Center.  Parents of students presently enrolled in our program, and anyone interested in the program are invited to attend.

Please do not email teachers with homework requests. That request should be addressed to Ms. Michelle in the office. You should call no later than 9:30 AM and pick up the homework no earlier than 3:30 PM.

Progress reports will be posted on Edline tomorrow.

We trust that our parents and/or guardians received the letter regarding signing off on the handbook of policies and are studying the handbook carefully. The deadline for returning the blue form is September 18^th.

The next Student Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16^th at 8 AM in the library. Officers will be elected.

Children of Mary will attend the 10:30 AM Mass this Sunday. All are welcome to join us to pray the rosary in church at 10 AM.
