DID YOU KNOW…

…that last week’s Grandparents’ Mass was such a celebration of our dear beloved grandparents, present and remembered.

… that our students have shown such great school spirit that we want to have a "Spirit Day" on October 8th. On this day our students may substitute their uniform shirt for our yellow St. Genevieve School shirt. Our students have demonstrated school spirit in their persistence in responding to Bishop Jacobs’ questioning when he celebrated Mass on September 11th, their cooperation at dismissal time, and their overall enthusiasm for our new school year. We are pleased to celebrate their efforts with a Spirit Day.

…that this year siblings may attend the Halloween Bazaar. There are times that we feel should be exclusive to St. Genevieve School students and their parents and we ask that siblings not attend. These include having lunch with your child, field trips, and field day. We also request that if a sibling is attending school Mass that you arrange to sit in a separate location with your child and their sibling, to avoid any distraction during Mass.

…that our altar servers visited Notre Dame Seminary this weekend. The seminarians were so impressed with our students’ knowledge of their faith. Look for pictures of their visit in the vestibule of the church. One of the participants, Andrew Benoit-Naquin created a power point presentation of the trip that may be viewed on Edline.
