DID YOU KNOW
……that Ms. Michelle copied only fifteen calendars and menus to send home this week. We appreciate your willingness to access this information online. What a savings to our school (and ultimately our families) in time and money!
…that a very important letter was sent home today regarding the signing off on the handbook of policies. The deadline for studying the policies and returning the blue sign off form to us is September 18th.
…that one of our dads, Mr. Paul Sylvest has agreed to take pictures on Grandparents’ Day. An order form went home today.
…that next Tuesday our faculty will attend the Diocesan Educator’s Conference. The guest speaker is Dr. Willard Daggett and his presentation is entitled "Rigor, Relevance and Relationship – Elements of Educational Change." The day concludes with a Mass celebrated with Bishop Jacobs and all employees of the Catholic Schools in our diocese. There is no school for our students on this day.
…that we appreciate your help in proofing the list of donors for the 2008-2009 Annual Fund. A corrected list is now on Edline for your review. If there are additional corrections, please bring them to the attention of Chris Knobloch at cknobloch@htdiocese.org or by calling the school office at 447-9291.
…that Bishop Sam Jacobs will be the celebrant at the 9:15 AM school Mass of
September 11th. We would love to have you join us.
…that our next Patriots meeting is scheduled for September 30th at 8 AM in the Family Center. All middle grade students are invited to join. The focus of this group will be service to the community. If you know of a need or cause that we might direct our efforts toward, we would love to hear from you.
…that the label winner for August is Sasha Aulich. Congratulations to Sasha and her family for collecting labels.
MAKE SPECIAL NOTE:

The only medications that can be administered by the school office are those given on a regular basis. We cannot administer antibiotics.
Tonight is the recruiting night for Cub Scout Pack 453. All boys in grades first through fifth are invited to attend this meeting in the cafeteria at 6:30 PM.
There will be no menu choices next week – hot plate only.
5. Coach Scott Sanders and the Sanders Baseball Academy will be holding an open Showcase Tryout Camp for playing ages 7U through 13U, for kids who are interested in joining the Sanders Baseball Academy Club organization. CAN YOU HELP?
We are in need of small Ziploc bags for "recess" ice packs.
If you bag pine needles, we would love to have them for the flower beds. Our best mulch is pine straw.
